Movielearn teaches English through movies. This innovative "edutainment" concept allows users to learn English through entertainment using the most common and widely available medium: the movies.

Movielearn is the first product of its kind to launch into the edutainment field for English learners of all ages. A hybrid of entertainment and education, the Movielearn software integrates specially developed, user-friendly English learning functionalities, which can be viewed when watching the DVD movies on the computer, making learning dynamic and interactive.

DVDs have become an increasingly powerful tool for helping students improve their English skills, and thus are helpful in providing ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction to students, whether in the classroom, self-study or distance-learning environments. As Hollywood movies are a source of conversational or colloquial English, Movielearn exposes learners to English not normally taught in textbooks or other traditional educational materials.
